Reklama 2017 shows trends in the advertising industry

From September 26 through 28 Expocentre hosts the 25th edition of the Reklama international exhibition. It is Russia’s major project in the advertising industry. The Reklama exhibition provides insights into the latest trends of the industry, shows the best technologies and equipment for production and placement of advertising, advertising communications and services.

Reklama is organized by Expocentre AO and supported by the Russian Association of Communication Agencies (AKAR). It runs under the auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. High standing of the project is confirmed by the logos of UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, and RUEF, the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs.

The main event of the Reklama supporting program is a round table on Modern Russian Advertising: Development Trends and Priorities of Government and Public Regulation. The event is organized by the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, AKAR, and Expocentre AO. This year the key discussion topics are the Russian advertising market, its current state, trends and forecasts; the most relevant issues of government and public regulation of advertising; the role of information in advertising and development of the modern urban environment.

Reklama will traditionally open the autumn trade show season. The participants will discuss challenges and priorities of the advertising market development, government and public regulation, and the role of industry associations in the dialogue with federal and regional authorities.

Communication technologies and channels are developing rapidly. The global economic crisis has undoubtedly affected the industry and promotes search for new growth drivers and the industry development. Today, the Russian advertising market undergoes considerable structural changes: the National Advertising Alliance was founded to optimize sales of advertising space, and the Russian TAM operator was developed. In all regions there are introduced and applied architectural and art regulations of information and advertising decoration of buildings, structures, constructions, and amenities.

Heads of the Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service, the Russian Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications, the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Moscow Department of Mass Communication and Advertising are invited to participate in the round table.
