The business world will name the best in the Russian outdoor advertising

The award ceremony for winners in the Sign Outdoor Advertising Competition will be held on the second day of REKLAMA 2014 on September 24 from 16:00 to 18:00 in Seminar Hall of Pavilion No.5 of Expocentre Fairgrounds. The exhibition will also include a photo gallery of the competition’s best entries. The competition is organized by the editorial office of the OUTDOOR Advertising magazine and Expocentre ZAO.

"The main objective of this competition is to promote the industry, identifying the most vibrant, dynamic and creative companies, showcasing the best examples of outdoor advertising facilities. Actually, tasks are trivial, but without them the information space of the industry of visual advertising will not be rich and objective,” says Oleg Vakhitov, the General Director of LLC Ar & DiCommunications, one of the industry experts, member of the jury. This competition for creators of outdoor advertising was first held in 2004. It reveals the most creative and promising companies, which create effective solutions for advertising customers.

"At the dawn of our competition main prizes were awarded to companies for decoration of casinos and large entertainment centers. Big budgets ran the show. Works were really beautiful, bright, and ambitious. The imagination of advertisers was not limited by budget. Then, when casinos were banned, the market significantly declined, but soon network clients arrived. Their commissions were strictly regulated by brand books. Generic projects were submitted to the competition. However, to stand out in a competitive environment, manufacturers of signs began to look for innovative solutions in manufacture of advertising structures more often and on a more professional level. We can particularly observe it in recent competition entries now,” Oleg Vakhitov explains the main trends of the competition. We carry out this project to, first of all, attract attention of advertising customers, to show them that there are many Russian companies, which are passionate and enthusiastic about their work that will not disappoint their clients, will be talked about and will satisfy commercial interests of their clients."

The organizers note the wide geography of the contest, as well as a growing creativity in the Russian regions. The jury consists of representatives of major advertisers, advertising agencies and specialized institutions. Not only the members of the jury will have a chance to see and assess the competition entries. Anyone can do it simply going to www.signbusiness.ru. The best of the best will be voted in ten categories. All works will be sorted into types and categories of customers. Thus, signs for pharmacies or banks are judged separately from signs for entertainment and shopping centers. There will be individual nominations such as, for example, advertising on transport and roof installations. Best entries and interviews with the winners will be published in the OUTDOOR Advertising magazine.
