Press Release. Reklama’2012 International Specialized Exhibition

The 20th anniversary edition of the Reklama International Specialized Exhibition was held at Expocentre Fairgrounds on 25-28 September 2012. The show is organized by Expocentre ZAO with support from the National Advertising Association and under the auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Moscow City Government.

The show’s high international reputation is confirmed by Approved Event logos it has from UFI – the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, and RUEF – the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs.

222 companies from 15 countries took part in the Reklama’2012 exhibition. The show floor exceeding 5000 m2 presented a whole array of innovative advertising products and services. The visitor attendance made up 14 630 people, 98% of whom were industry specialists.

Reklama’2012 mirrored the interest of international advertising agencies in the rapidly growing Russian advertising market. This year the show was attended by foremost industry leaders including Columb EU SP, Diss Print, Hewlett-Packard, Neofoar, Prismaflex AB among many others.

Reklama’2012 showed a rich diversity of the rapidly-evolving advertising industry. The visual technologies feature area put on display new solutions for outdoor and illuminated advertising, and published media. Special attention was paid to advertising services and promotion, including internet advertising, promotional and PR campaigns, and branding. There were special sections for POS materials and business gifts at the show.

A keynote event of the business-related programme of the show was the Matrix of Russian Advertising international forum, held as part of the Reklama exhibition for the first time. It was organized by the Imperia Congress and Exhibition Company and Expocentre ZAO.

Over three days, 47 marketing communication gurus were showcasing ground-breaking techniques and tools for effective advertising.

The forum was attended by 1 650 people, with the programme comprising a conference, 23 seminars by foremost specialists and a master class by the Stars of Russian Advertising, as well as screening of the Cannes Lions’ winning entries and discussion of creative content.

During Reklama’2012 the winners of the 8th Znak outdoor advertising competition were selected and announced. The competition was run by the Naruzhka Magazine and Expocentre ZAO. The 2012 competition saw 101 entries from 52 companies across Russia. The winners included companies from Moscow, St Petersburg, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Stavropol, Tomsk, Magnitogorsk and Khabarovsk.

Reklama’2012 once again showed the importance of advertising and its social responsibility.
