Pavilion Forum of Expocentre Fairgrounds hosted an opening of the 19th International Specialized Exhibition Reklama’2011

On September 27 Pavilion Forum of Expocentre Fairgrounds hosted an opening of the 19th International Specialized Exhibition Reklama’2011 co-organized by Expocentre and the National Advertising Association.

 

At the opening ceremony Expocentre Deputy General Director Anatoliy V. Sobolev welcomed 173 participants from 9 countries.

Having become a traditional event, Reklama’2011 is essentially increasing its professional level from year to year. The exhibition allows not only showcasing products and services, but also sharing experience, opinions, developing a long term strategy. It is notable that the Reklama show is annually held under the auspices of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the Moscow City Government.

Welcoming participants and organizers of the exhibition, Vice-President of the RF CCI Georgiy G. Petrov noticed that the exhibition spoke for the fact that despite all obstacles the advertising industry in Russia was alive and it was a completely independent and firmly consolidated branch.

Head of the Moscow Department of Mass Media and Advertising Vladimir V. Chernikov emphasized that the Reklama’2011 exhibition brought valuable contribution into Moscow’s advertising industry development. This representative show, according to Deputy Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation Sergey F. Kotov, is an important tool to create a civilized market of advertising in Russia.

Along with the 19th International Exhibition Reklama’2011, the Russian Advertising Week was open. Chairman of the RF CCI Committee for Advertising Business, President of the National Advertising Association Boris A. Shkolnikov noticed it significant that the Russian Advertising Week comprised two major events- the 19th Specialized Exhibition Reklama’2011 and 21st Moscow Festival of Advertising and Marketing the Brand of the Year’2011. Within this event there will take place over 20 actions – round tables, symposiums, summarizing the Znak outdoor advertising international contest and the Advertising design’2011 contest results and many other events.

The Russian Advertising Week will not only sum up this year’s work, but also allow planning new long term aims.
