Russian Exposition is open within the 67th International Fair Plovdiv

The 67th International Technical Fair ITF 2011 was opened on September 26 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

 

Russia has participated in Plovdiv fairs many times. This year the Russian Federation is declared a partner country and guest of honor of the 67th International Fair Plovdiv ITF 2011. Russia’s exposition is organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation with the official support from the Russian Federation CCI and with the assistance from Expocentre.

Prime Minister of Bulgaria Boiko Borisov participated in the opening of the Fair and the Russian exposition. The ceremony enjoyed participation of such guests of honor as Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation Sergey Ivanets, Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Yuriy Sentyurin, Minister of Education, Youth and Science of the Republic of Bulgaria Sergei Ignatov, Minister of Economics, Energy and Tourism Traicho Traikov, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Bulgaria Yuriy Isakov, other officials and representatives of business circles of Bulgaria.

Prime Minister of Bulgaria observed Russia’s exposition with great interest. The exposition traditionally was located in pavilion No. 6 on the area of over 2000 sq.m. Around 60 leading universities and educational institutions and as well leading innovative manufacturing enterprises of Russia participate in the exposition. The Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation display its special exposition.

“It is very important for the Bulgarian business to have Russia as a partner country”, as Fair Executive Director Bogomil Bonev said. Experience and prospects of the Bulgaria-Russia cooperation in developing high technologies and products are in the focus of innovative forum Russia-Bulgaria: Cooperation for Development on the Basis of Innovations which opened on September 26 along with the exposition.

With the support from the Embassy of the Russian Federation, within the business-related program of the Russian exposition there is organized Forum of Slavic Web Culture with participation of educational and scientific organizations of Russia and Bulgaria and many other interesting events.
